In past 20 years, FUGE punch bellow machine has experienced 3 stages before reaching current fully auto mode. We are stepping into the 4th stage.

The 4th generation bellow machine combines the punch forming and re-rolling process in one procedure. No more re-rolling after punch forming, and you can acheive the expected specification.

The first generation bellow forming machine needs operators to measure the bellow forming position and draw forming lines on the tube. The machine only perform the punch function.

The 2nd generation increases the auto measure function, operators don't need to draw the forming position on the tubes. The machine got a brain to calculate and find the position by itself, but still needed human arms to operate.

The 3rd generation got an arm and a brain. It did the math and labor work at the same time. The control system indicated the tube length and processed forming specification, and the clamping arm followed the tube and rotated it during the punch forming, just like what human operators did.

As the brain keeps learning, the bellow forming machine are capable of making various pitch and height.

Now we are planning to step into a new stage for punch bellow former- getting rid of re-rolling procedure after forming. Re-rolling is always used to make up the bounce back rates of material after punch forming. It takes a lot of time for thick bellows, especially with alloy materials.

This profound change will massively cut down the time and cost in bellow forming, another milestone in bellow forming history!
